Job summary
Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Vice President/Associate Vice President of Regional Research Operations to drive expansion across R&D sites, ensure regulatory and operational excellence, and build a high-performing organization across multiple sites in the United States. You will lead cross-site coordination, optimize processes, and guide acquisitions with a strong focus on compliance and risk management.

Qualifications
- BS+ in scientific/pharmaceutical development field.
- 15+ years pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Experience with regulated processes/activities.
- 5+ years supervisory experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead expansion across R&D sites; oversee current operations and future acquisitions.
- Build a sustainable organization and maintain compliance with regulatory/legal/right-to-operate requirements.
- Strengthen organization via recruiting, training, coaching, development; structure teams; drive behaviors through clear communication and respect.
- Simplify/prioritize work to speed decisions.
- Partner with site leadership to align roles/accountabilities and ensure compliance.
- Provide operational/strategic oversight for R&D facilities, Supply Chain & Shipping Office, Third-Party Risk Assessment, and Research Data Systems.
