Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking an experienced Regional Recruiter to develop and execute recruitment strategies across Delaware, Virginia, North and South Carolina, and surrounding regions. You will identify, attract, and hire qualified healthcare professionals for correctional facilities.

The role emphasizes building relationships, managing multiple vacancies, and coordinating with remote teams to ensure timely fills. 3+ years in recruiting and a bachelor’s degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, healthcare administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare or correctional healthcare.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruitment and sourcing for hard-to-fill roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned regions and facilities.
• Source candidates via job boards, social media, referrals and events.
• Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and maintain candidate communications.
• Develop pipelines and collaborate with hiring managers to fill vacancies.

REGIONAL RECRUITER POSITION SUMMARY

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking an experienced and driven Regional Recruiter to join our growing team. The Regional Recruiter will be responsible for developing and executing recruitment strategies across an assigned region, with a primary focus on identifying, attracting, and hiring qualified healthcare professionals to support our healthcare facilities in a correctional environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiter who enjoys building relationships and recruiting for hard-to-fill healthcare positions. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, resourceful, and comfortable managing multiple vacancies and hiring priorities across multiple locations.

REGIONAL RECRUITER REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in healthcare, clinical staffing, behavioral health, correctional healthcare, or a related industry.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruitment preferred.
• Previous work or understanding of corrections, prisons or jails
• Demonstrated success recruiting for difficult-to-fill healthcare positions.
• Strong sourcing, interviewing, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and locations simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote and geographically dispersed team.

REGIONAL RECRUITER ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned healthcare facilities and regions.
• Partner with facility leadership, Human Resources, and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Recruit for a variety of clinical and non-clinical healthcare positions, including RNs, LPNs, physicians, advanced practice providers, behavioral health professionals, and other healthcare staff.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, career fairs, recruiting events, and other creative sourcing methods.
• Review applications and resumes, conduct initial candidate screenings, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
• Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with candidates throughout the recruitment and hiring process.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and anticipated openings.
• Track recruitment activity, candidate progress, vacancies, and hiring metrics using applicant tracking and HR systems.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to identify challenges and develop solutions for difficult-to-fill positions.
• Assist with job advertisements, recruiting campaigns, hiring events, and other initiatives designed to increase candidate flow.
