Shared Medical Services seeks a Radiology Regional Operations Manager - PET/CT to lead a skilled team, coordinate daily ops, and uphold high-quality patient care across regional sites in the Great Lakes and Twin Cities area.

The role requires travel, strong leadership, and collaboration with customers to ensure exam quality and service excellence. SMS ONETEAM culture emphasizes ownership and professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT-N).
• Active permit to practice where applicable.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest level of quality and customer service through daily operations and supervision.
• Supervise Technologists, Medical Imaging Assistants and Drivers.
• Oversee daily operations of all assigned scanners.
• Respond to and resolve operational issues, including off-hour emergencies.
• Conduct ROM observations and staff meetings as required.
• Support network development, equipment and personnel growth.
• Assess equipment performance and coordinate with service vendors.
• Maintain technical competency through ongoing education and training.
• Ensure policy compliance (QA, Transportation/Safety, Health/Safety).
• Work with Regional VP/Director on staffing, hiring, promotions, performance issues, terminations.
• Lead proactive recruiting activities: interviews, conferences, job fairs.
