Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Regional Quality Lead to oversee quality operations and regulatory compliance across North America. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for someone with a strong aerospace or aviation quality background who enjoys combining technical expertise, regulatory compliance, audits, continuous improvement, and people leadership.

The Regional Quality Lead will be responsible for maintaining consistent quality standards across U.S. and Canadian operations while partnering closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service, and global Quality teams.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead and maintain regional quality programs in accordance with AS9120, AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA, EASA, and customer requirements
• Provide quality oversight and governance across North American operations
• Lead and support internal, external, customer, and regulatory audits, including preparation, corrective actions, follow up, and closure
• Manage nonconformance processes, investigations, and resolution of quality issues
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action, CAPA, for customer complaints, supplier issues, and operational quality concerns
• Monitor quality metrics and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
• Support supplier approval, evaluation, and corrective action activities
• Support counterfeit parts prevention and aviation safety and airworthiness requirements
• Provide quality training, coaching, and guidance to employees and regional stakeholders
• Serve as an escalation point for significant quality, compliance, and customer related matters
• Partner cross functionally to drive continuous improvement, accountability, risk reduction, and operational excellence
• Lead and develop members of the regional Quality team

What We Are Looking For

• Approximately 5+ years of quality experience within aerospace, aviation, aircraft parts, or aviation distribution
• Strong working knowledge of AS9120 and/or AS9100 and ISO 9001
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and requirements; EASA knowledge is highly desirable
• Strong experience conducting and supporting quality audits
• Hands on experience with root cause analysis, CAPA, nonconformance, and corrective action management
• Understanding of aviation distribution processes and supply chain quality
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Strong communication and relationship building skills with the ability to work across departments and locations
• Highly organized, detail oriented, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative, approachable leader
• Comfortable traveling as needed throughout North America with occasional overseas travel

The position offers a competitive base salary of $115K to $145K plus bonus, hybrid flexibility, benefits, PTO, 401(k) with company match, and the opportunity to work within an established international aerospace organization.
