Job summary

Silvi Materials is seeking a Regional QC Manager for Pennsylvania to lead QC Technicians across SE PA sites. You will supervise testing of aggregate and concrete, review gradation, moisture, slump, air content, and compressive strength, and ensure compliance with design specifications.

You will travel between plants and client locations, communicate results to operations, and drive corrective actions as needed. ACI Level 1 is preferred; training may be provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, and/or Engineering preferred
• Travel with own vehicle to and from plants and client locations; mileage reimbursed
• Flexible schedule including overtime, Saturdays and night pours as required
• ACI Level 1 certification preferred or willingness to obtain training/certification
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather and lift up to 100 lbs

Responsibilities

• Oversee QC Technicians at 9 Silvi PA sites
• Perform initial and ongoing testing of aggregate and concrete (grad, moisture, slump, air content, temperature)
• Ensure adjustments to mixtures with plant operations as needed
• Test cylindrical specimens for compressive strength and compare to design values
• Communicate results to appropriate personnel and agencies
• Supervise regional QC activities and field service issues/quality complaints
