Ferguson is currently seeking a Regional Purchasing Manager to join our team! This role is responsible for managing key relationships with regional leadership, vendors, and internal partners to drive inventory performance, optimize working capital, and enhance customer service levels.

This role is approved to be fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities
  • Manages the relationship with key leadership for the regions; including, but not limited to, the Regional VP, Regional Operations Director, Customer Group Directors, Process Operations Managers, and Regional Inventory Managers
  • Collaborate with Vendors and Category Management on plan to sell skus, obsolescence, and lead times.
  • Oversee a team of Buyers and Purchasing Manager(s) for the Appliance Category nationwide
  • Work with the regions to meet their working capital goals while meeting customer service requirements and increasing fill rates and service levels
  • Communicate with the Regional Purchasing Managers and Regional Inventory Managers to understand any updates and changes in the region (new location openings, closings, leadership changes, and business strategy changes) as well as communicate business group strategy related to inventory.
  • Provide solutions and recommendations to Regional Management for inventory and customer service issues related to inventory and procurement.
  • Perform a range of procurement activities
  • Monitor inventory and manage product shortages
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments
Qualifications
  • Previous Purchasing Management or Category Management/Sales experience (at least 5 years)
  • Familiarity with using PowerBI
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software
  • Detail oriented and proven organization skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong customer service skills and problem-solving proficiency
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and phenomenal communication skills

Pay

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

Estimated monthly salary range: $7,949.70 - $17,325.00. The range displayed is monthly for salaried roles or hourly for all other roles. This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
