Job summary
OPmobility seeks a Regional Purchasing Commodity Professional – Supply Chain to drive regional commodity strategies, RFQ planning, and supplier management. You will update rate cards, conduct performance reviews, and set up suppliers in Tempo and SAP, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement across regional operations.
The ideal candidate has about 8 years in supply chain with strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- Approximately 8 years of related experience on the commercial side of supply chain.
- Experience with carriers, warehouse providers, freight forwarders, or brokers.
Responsibilities
- Execute regional commodity strategies and RFQ plans.
- Maintain rate cards for lanes, volumes, and itineraries.
- Lead monthly performance reviews for assigned commodity.
- Manage supplier panel with operational and business reviews.
- Set up providers in Tempo and SAP with accurate data.
- Conduct Gemba visits to align with operations.
- Manage contracts and Master Service Agreements.
