Job summary

Massachusetts Department of Youth Services seeks a licensed psychologist to serve as Regional Clinical Coordinator for the Southeast Region. The role develops and oversees psychological services across state and provider programs, supervising clinical directors and providing interagency planning and consultation.

The position requires a Doctorate in Psychology, MA licensure, and expertise in assessments (WAIS, WISC, Rorschach, TAT), crisis intervention, and evidence-based therapies (DBT/CBT).

Qualifications

• PhD/Doctorate in Psychology from APA-accredited program.
• Current and valid psychology license in MA.
• Experience applying psychological principles in a clinical setting.
• Supervisory experience with post-doctoral psychologists or trainees.
• Ability to administer, score, and interpret major psychometric tests.

Responsibilities

• Direct psychological services to youth in Southeast Region, including evaluations, counseling, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.
• Coordinate behavioral health services for youth in community and district offices.
• Oversee referrals for specialized services (forensic assessments, CBT/DBT).
• Develop treatment plans and supervise Clinical Directors for regional programs.
• Provide interagency collaboration and staff training on clinical topics.
