Responsibilities

The Regional Property Manager’s primary duties include ensuring the effective day-to-day management of properties, focusing on resident satisfaction, health and safety, and quality programs, aligned with CRM and owner goals.

• Manage daily operations, budgets, and marketing plans
• Maintain compliance with funding programs (HUD, LIHTC, RD), inspections, budgeting, and personnel development
• Prepare energy conservation plans for NYSERDA
• Conduct tours and audits with REAC, DHCR, HUD, investors, and auditors
• Oversee property office operations and documentation (recertifications, vouchers, EIV)
• Hire, train, and supervise onsite staff

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required
• 7+ years in affordable property management
• 5+ years leadership experience
• Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS)
• C3P, Tax Credit, LIHTC certifications
• STAR certification (if applicable)
• Experience with Tax Credit and Section 8
• Willingness to travel 75%
• Strong communication, management, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
