Job summary

MAA is seeking a Regional Vice President to oversee a portfolio of properties within a defined region, reporting to the Senior Vice President. The role focuses on leadership, market awareness, and implementing corporate initiatives while upholding MAA’s Core Values.

The candidate will guide property-level staff, ensure budgeted performance, and drive occupancy and customer satisfaction across properties in the area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years as an apartment property manager or 8+ years in a management role of apartment property operations.

Responsibilities

• Audit properties regularly to ensure top quality image and compliance.
• Develop staff through coaching, training, and mentoring.
• Monitor financial performance and implement corrective plans with Property Manager.
• Manage capital projects and budgets for properties in the area.
• Resolve escalated customer and employee relations issues.
