Job summary

Ferrellgas in Kansas City seeks an Area Product Coordinator to help ensure safe, efficient propane distribution and resupply across designated locations by coordinating drivers and carrier partners. This role focuses on daily route planning and compliance with transportation rules.

You will prepare schedules, monitor DOT compliance, forecast shipping needs, and maintain records while delivering responsive customer service to customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Distribute propane and other products within a designated region using rail, truck, and pipelines.
• Schedule and issue shipping instructions for LPG storage, exchange, and purchase.
• Coordinate deliveries and communicate daily work schedules to drivers.
• Monitor DOT requirements and instruct drivers to ensure compliance.
• Forecast shipping needs and adjust schedules based on production, storage, and demand patterns.
