Trelleborg Sealing Solutions (TSS) Americas is seeking a Regional Procurement Leader to drive procurement excellence across eight manufacturing sites with over $100 million annual spend. You will lead regional sourcing strategies for direct and indirect categories, aligning with global objectives and supplier strategies to optimize cost and risk.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Degree level education
• Proficient contractual/legal skills
• Able to communicate with people at all levels of the business
• Completed or working towards a recognized Purchasing qualification: CIPS or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Mitigate risk by developing and maintaining supplier risk management frameworks and mitigation plans
• Map and analyze global spending for strategic commodities, develop and negotiate contracts with key suppliers, identify best practices and create efficiencies
• Build Supplier Relationship Management through scorecards, drive innovation and continuous improvements with suppliers
• Lead sourcing projects and support local sites in identifying opportunities with a systematic approach
• Engage in supplier market development by networking with peers and identifying new suppliers and initiatives
• Oversee quality approvals necessary in Aero, Auto, Industrial sectors
• Support TSS Manufacturing sites on PE-related supply and sourcing activities to ensure stable supply
• Apply a project management approach with KPI-driven mindset and coordinate with Group Purchasing on the digital sourcing journey

Job description

The Regional Procurement Leader serves as the strategic procurement lead for Trelleborg Sealing Solutions (TSS) Operations Americas, driving procurement excellence across eight manufacturing sites with an annual expenditure exceeding $100 million. This role is responsible for leading the development and execution of regional sourcing strategies across both direct and indirect categories, while ensuring alignment with global procurement objectives, supplier strategies, and operational priorities. As a key member of the TSS Global Manufacturing Support Team, the Regional Procurement Leader partners with site leadership, operational teams, and global procurement stakeholders to optimize cost, mitigate supply chain risk, strengthen supplier performance, and improve procurement processes. The role acts as the primary regional counterpart for critical suppliers and strategic raw material categories, ensuring continuity of supply and long‑term value creation. The primary focus of this position is to identify and capture enterprise‑wide synergies, standardize procurement practices, and implement tools, processes, and governance that drive measurable business results. Through close collaboration with regional purchasing teams and global colleagues, the Regional Procurement Leader will enhance operational efficiency, support sustainable growth, and advance the organization’s Purchasing Excellence objectives across the Americas.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Cost savings and value creation- map and analyze global spending for strategic commodities, develop and negotiate contracts with key suppliers, identify best practices and create efficiencies and templates
• Strategic Supplier Relationship Management- build relationships, set expectations through scorecards, drive innovation and continuous improvements with the supplier
• Sourcing projects – support local sites in the identification of opportunities and applying a systematic approach · Supplier Market development – Attend seminars, network with peers, work with other group purchasing teams to identify new suppliers and implement new initiatives
• Quality approvals – Document quality approvals necessary in Aero, Auto, Industrial
• Support TSS Manufacturing sites on PE related supply- and sourcing activities, to ensure stable supply
• Project Management driven approach with clear KPI mindset and time plan focus · Work with Group Purchasing to drive next steps in Trelleborg digital sourcing journey

Education and Experience

Compensation

Compensation range: $130,000 - $175, 000
