Job summary

Service Express is seeking a regional materials planner to manage planning activities for the assigned area and coordinate sparing for new product introductions. You will ensure timely replenishment of localized inventory to field sites and customer sites, and publish KPIs for the region.

The role requires strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, experience in customer service or bookkeeping is a plus, and proficiency with Excel and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience in customer service and/or bookkeeping preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
• Comfortable using materials management tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage materials planning for the specified region.
• Coordinate sparing for new product introductions and initial stocking.
• Ensure localized inventory is replenished to field and customer sites.
• Publish key performance metrics in a timely manner.
• Develop expertise in ASTEA, CRM, Min/Max and related tools.
• Assist with regional quotes for equipment spare planning to meet SLA.
• Drive continuous improvement to define best-in-class practices.
• Plan and execute procurement from preferred suppliers at best total cost.
• Maintain relationships with global suppliers and monitor shipping and POs.
• Report availability issues and advise on part availability for new customers.
