Job summary

Tufts Medicine Primary Care is seeking a Primary Care Regional Medical Director to oversee our Lowell area market. Tenured primary care physicians will lead practices to improve quality, patient experience, access, growth, and financial stewardship, while recruiting physicians and APCs and driving value-based contracts.

• Experience guiding quality, patient experience, access, growth and financial stewardship.
• Proven ability to recruit and develop physicians and APCs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, clinical practice oversight, and staff engagement.
• Lead patient-centered care and develop longitudinal relationships with patients.
• Drive quality-based goals through evidence-based practices and QA initiatives.
• Provide service and people-focused support to meet needs of patients, providers, and staff.
• Manage relationships with regional specialists to keep care local and high quality.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on business and medical strategy implementation.
• Advance value-based contracting across the clinically integrated network.
