Job summary

The Regional Pricing Coordinator at SRS Distribution Inc. will manage regional pricing databases, perform sales and item analyses in Excel, and implement daily and quarterly pricing adjustments to boost profitability.

You'll collaborate with field teams and management, ensure SOX-compliant audit trails, and leverage Power BI, Agility, and OutSystems to drive data-driven pricing strategies across the region. This hybrid role includes travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Pricing, or a closely related field preferred.
  • Equivalent professional experience in Excel and analysis may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, complex formulas, shortcut keys, and data entry.
  • Experience with Power BI (or similar analytics platform), with a preference for those familiar with Agility or similar platforms.
  • Prior experience in a corporate setting, with a focus on wholesale, distribution, or business-to-business (B2B) environments preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in pricing, sales, and item analysis, with a history of contributing to price and margin optimization.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a capability to effectively interact with field team members and management at all levels.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a service-oriented attitude.
  • Proven ability to work independently while being adaptive and flexible in response to dynamic business needs.
  • Must be technically savvy and possess a personable disposition.

Position Purpose

Position Purpose: The Regional Pricing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining pricing for our branch locations. The Regional Pricing Coordinator will also use analytics and optimizing pricing strategies to enhance profitability. This role demands leveraging advanced Excel skills to perform comprehensive sales and item analysis, alongside maintaining and updating the pricing database to support critical pricing functions. The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with all levels of management, ensuring seamless implementation of daily and quarterly pricing adjustments to drive business growth.

Travel Requirements

The Regional Pricing Coordinator required to travel up to 25% of the time to regional offices and client locations to support pricing strategy implementation. Regional Pricing Coordinators are encouraged to visit branch locations at lead once a quarter.

Physical Requirements

The role of Regional Pricing Coordinator primarily involves work in a standard office environment. The position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while using a computer, including frequent use of a keyboard, mouse, and related hardware. Minimum Education

Highschool Diploma/GED or an Associate degree in Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Pricing, or a related field. However, significant professional experience in Excel and data analysis may be considered as equivalent to formal educational qualifications.

Preferred Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.

Minimum Years Of Work Experience

For consideration as a Regional Pricing Coordinator, candidates must have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in pricing or a related field. This experience should encompass the use of advanced Excel skills for data analysis, database management, and adaptation to dynamic pricing strategies in a corporate setting.
