Job summary

CHEP seeks an experienced manufacturing leader to stabilize operations, drive site transformations, and support new facility startups and major initiatives. You will lead rapidly in turnaround scenarios and oversee full plant P&L, with frequent US travel and multi-site assignments.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years in plant/site leadership, strong operational execution, and proven crisis leadership. This role requires high mobility and the ability to guide both hourly and salaried teams to rapid

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced manufacturing leader to step into challenging and rewarding assignments, from stabilizing operations and leading site transformations to supporting new facility startups and major business initiatives. This position is responsible for rapid, high impact leadership intervention to stabilize operations, cover vacancies, or drive turnaround.

What You Will Do:

Major/Key Accountabilities

• Full site leadership (production, safety, cost, quality, service)
• First 90-day execution planning and translating network priorities into plant execution
• Deployable to any plant within US Service Center Network
• Possible short-term assignments and scenarios include, but not limited to:
• Automation implementations
• Underperforming or turnaround sites
• Transitions / conversions
• M&A site integration, startups or closures
• New leader support
• Step into site leadership immediately and lead turnaround or underperforming interventions
• Stabilize operations and improve KPIs quickly
• Coach site leadership teams while driving CI and turnaround initiatives
• Support Site openings, conversations and transformations
• Fill leadership gaps (PM or Operational Supervisors)
• Prepare site for permanent PM Placement
• Own full plant P&L

What You Will Bring:

Experience

• 7 to 10 years’ experience in Plant/Site Leader roles in manufacturing or similar production environment
• Proven ability to run stable, performing site
• Strong people leader with consistent execution and history

Skills and Knowledge

What To Expect:

• Ability to lead a team of both hourly and salaried staff including direct and indirect scope up to 100 employees
• Ability to travel up to 75% within the U.S.

Compensation Statement:

The salary range for this position is $128,000 to $176,000 per year. Salary ranges provided take into account a wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications, geographic differentials and other business and organizational needs. Therefore, actual amounts offered may be higher or lower than the range provided.
