Job summary

Hannaford Supermarkets is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to lead the store pharmacy operations in Augusta, ME. You will partner with store managers and staff to deliver patient care, immunize patients, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws.

Responsibilities include supervising pharmacy associates, managing staffing and training, and maintaining a clean, compliant, and customer-focused environment while supporting local health initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Active license to practice in the state where assigned.
• Current immunizing pharmacist certification.
• Successful completion of criminal background check and drug testing.
• Knowledge of state and Federal pharmacy laws.
• Ability to work flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to supervise staff and manage inventory.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Managers and pharmacy staff to deliver services.
• Oversee professional and business operations within the pharmacy.
• Identify store-level sales and marketing opportunities with the Store Manager.
• Supervise duties of all pharmacy associates.
• Ensure adequate staffing and ongoing training of personnel.
• Maintain compliance with Pharmacy Standard Practice Manual.
• Perform immunizations according to company standards.
• Maintain professional appearance and effective communication within the team.
• Follow safety standards and report equipment repairs.
• Work within management planning guidelines to maintain productivity.
