Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Successful completion of criminal background check and drug testing as required.
• Current license in good standing in the state to practice.
• Current and active immunizing pharmacist certification.
• Knowledge of state and Federal laws pertaining to pharmacy practices.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Managers and associates to run the pharmacy.
• Responsible for professional and business operations within the pharmacy department.
• Identify store level sales and marketing opportunities with the Store Manager.
• Supervise the performance of duties of all pharmacy associates.
• Ensure adequate staffing and training of pharmacy personnel.
• Perform immunizations according to Company policy and standards.
• Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance and adhere to personal appearance policy.
• Maintain solid communication within the department and organization.
• Follow management planning guidelines to maintain productivity.
• Support safety standards and report needed repairs.
