Job summary

Shared Medical Services is seeking a Radiology Regional Operations Manager to lead a high-performing team across the Great Lakes region, including Twin Cities, MN and Northwest Iowa. You will oversee daily operations, ensure patient care quality, and coordinate with multiple sites to maximize uptime and efficiency.

The role requires travel, strong leadership, and a commitment to compliance with safety and QA standards. An NMTCB/ARRT-N credential and valid license are essential.

Qualifications

• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT-N).
• Active permit to practice where applicable.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily regional operations across a multi-site network.
• Supervise Technologists, Medical Imaging Assistants and Drivers.
• Manage and optimize scanner operations and uptime.
• Respond to operational issues and after-hours emergencies.
• Conduct ROM observations and staff meetings.
• Drive network development, equipment, and personnel growth.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance, Safety policies, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with Regional VP/Director on staffing and performance actions.
• Lead proactive recruiting, conferences, and job fairs.
• Provide exam quality support and maintain patient confidentiality.
