Regional People and Culture Manager (Central/NorCal Region)

We are seeking a Regional People and Culture Manager to join our team! This role is travel-from-home, supporting our communities in Central & Northern California.

Job Summary

Responsible for implementing and executing HR programs at the community level within the Senior Living industry. Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, provides support to managers and employees, and maintains HR records.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Hire, train, set performance goals, monitor, and coach within the People & Culture Talent Acquisition team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for multiple business units, providing support and guidance.
• Collaborate on recruiting, staffing, and retention strategies.
• Lead the implementation and communication of HR system updates, programs, and policies.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
• Handle employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Manage investigations and compliance with legal requirements.
• Conduct audits to ensure policy and legal compliance.
• Partner with payroll, benefits, and training teams.
• Support performance management reviews.
• Travel regionally (+40%) to visit units regularly.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years HR experience in a multi-state service organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HCM systems.

Physical & Work Environment

• Must be mobile, capable of physical tasks, and work at a computer for extended periods.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $140,000 - $155,000 annually + bonus. Benefits include 401(k), health insurance, life/disability insurance, paid time off, leadership development, and more.
