Job summary

Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge in Brainerd is seeking a Regional Outreach Manager to plan, implement, and lead outreach initiatives supporting MnTC programs across the region.

You will build professional relationships with referral sources, community partners, and stakeholders, manage admissions collaboration, and ensure effective communication, reporting, and service to individuals seeking help.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in outreach, business development, marketing, sales, or relationship management capacity.
  • Previous experience in the treatment and recovery industry is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentation development.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Comfort and compassion in working with individuals facing life-controlling challenges, such as mental health issues and addiction.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage regional outreach initiatives to support MnTC programs and regional objectives.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with regional referral sources and community partners.
  • Collaborate with Admissions and Jail Coordinators to facilitate the admissions process and remove barriers.
  • Maintain accurate program information and assist with materials, training, and public speaking engagements.
  • Communicate regularly with the Center Director, Admissions team, and other Outreach managers to support MnTC initiatives.
  • Enter and track regional contacts in the CRM and monitor follow-ups and reporting.

Job Summary

The Brainerd Regional Outreach Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing regional outreach initiatives to promote Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge (“MnTC”) programs and support organizational objectives. This role requires building and maintaining professional relationships with referral sources, community partners, and key stakeholders while ensuring effective communication, reporting, and support for individuals seeking services.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential functions include the following:

Planning and Management:

  • Contribute to the development of annual and quarterly Outreach plans to support MnTC’s business and organizational objectives across the assigned region.
  • Provide regional insights, news, and community needs to leadership to guide resource allocation and strategic initiatives.

Implementation:

  • Lead the execution of Outreach initiatives within the assigned region.
  • Ensure MnTC programs are positioned competitively and supported with the necessary tools and resources for ongoing success.

Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with regional referral sources, including chemical dependency assessors, public defenders, social service agencies, child protection staff, judges, dispositional advisors, drug courts, probation officers, and other providers.
  • Provide accurate program information to the public efficiently and professionally, including application materials, brochures, training, and public speaking engagements.

Outreach to Individuals in Need:

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with key staff at jails and prisons within assigned counties.
  • Provide information about MnTC programs to incarcerated individuals eligible for services.
  • Assist with the admission process, ensuring compliance with established procedures and facilitating interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Admissions and Jail Coordinators, to troubleshoot barriers and support those in need of services.

Communication:

  • Maintain routine communication with the Center Director, Admissions team, Program Staff, and other Outreach managers to support MnTC initiatives.
  • Ensure open, constructive, and bilateral communication that enhances organizational objectives.

Reporting and Administration:

  • Maintain an organized record of all regional contacts and enter information promptly into the CRM (e.g., Pipedrive).
  • Develop and maintain processes to track professional contacts and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Monitor and capture tracking information to support organizational objectives.

Required Skills & Experience (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in outreach, business development, marketing, sales, or relationship management capacity.
  • Previous experience in the treatment and recovery industry is strongly preferred.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines.
  • Very well organized; ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record that will be accepted by this organization’s vehicle insurance carrier.
  • Comfort and compassion in working with individuals facing life-controlling challenges, such as mental health issues and addiction.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at a time.

Target Compensation (Negotiable based on qualifications):

$53,000-$56,000/year
