Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• 21 years of age required per FMCSA regulations.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center and/or work assignment.
• Must pass a FMCSA required medical exam and road test.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of equipment safely and perform required safety functions (including manual/automatic transmission, chaining tires, etc.).
• Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain records in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Comply with safety and legal transportation of hazardous materials requirements.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; ensure vehicle and trailer safety.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to Fleet Services or supervision.
• Use in-cab technology as required and work flexible schedules as needed.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers and the public.
• Maintain regular attendance and work as required.
