Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC in Atlanta is seeking an Operations Technology regional resource to provide enterprise architecture expertise for manufacturing IT and process control infrastructure.

The role focuses on practical implementation of enterprise manufacturing standards for security and architecture, consulting with clients as a central technical expert to solve problems in control systems architecture, infrastructure design, and cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• Experience in Process Control, Operations Technology, or manufacturing network infrastructure including IT networks, security, or distributed control systems.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing IT technologies in a manufacturing environment (virtualization, NAC, patching, monitoring, switches, routers, firewalls, security apps).
• Experience with network security architecture, firewall configuration, VLANs, IDS/IPS, authentication, encryption, Windows administration, and risk assessment methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME support for OT strategies and business outcomes.
• Document architectural designs for reliable, scalable technology solutions.
• Drive implementation of Manufacturing OT standards through project teams and facility resources.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on control system architecture, security policies, and configuration guidelines to harden assets.
• Provide guidance on OT infrastructure needs including OPC data flow, antivirus, Windows patching.
• Stay informed on current architecture challenges and technologies, communicating insights to leadership.
• Support large-scale projects at client sites.
