Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to oversee safe, efficient operation of facilities producing medical cryogenic liquids and industrial gases across the region. You will lead safety, quality, and cost targets while managing staffing, budgeting, and maintenance activities.

You will coordinate with Plant Managers, support the Sales team, and ensure regulatory and quality systems are in place. The role requires strong leadership and hands-on availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent industry experience with a minimum of 5 years specific management experience in the production of medical and industrial atmospheric gases.
• Experience interacting with Federal, State, and local regulatory agencies (FDA, EPA, OSHA, DHS, etc.)
• Experience implementing and maintaining quality systems including ISO 9001-2015 and FSSC22000
• Experience implementing and maintaining Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Understanding the principles of Cryogenic Air Separation
• Understanding the mechanical principles of rotating equipment
• Computerskills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Outlook
• Understanding of General Accounting Techniques
• Advanced statistical and analytical skills
• Possession of a valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Comfortable with public speaking

Responsibilities

• Support local personnel during plant outages and assist with department initiatives.
• Coordinate plant maintenance activities and production scheduling within the region.
• Support the Sales Team and qualify/supervise vendors and contractors.
• Assist department head with data and budgetary preparations and presentations.
• Fill in for a Plant Manager as needed and be on call 24/7 for plant needs.
• Ensure compliance with MTG safety, regulatory, and quality policies.
• Understand in-region pipeline contracts and obligations.

Job description

JOB TITLE -REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER Salary range $150, 000 to $165,000

The Regional ASU Operations Manager hasoverall responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of all facilitiesused in the production of medical cryogenic liquids and industrial pipelinegases on a Regional basis These duties include quality control, personnelstaffing and training issues; safety, health and environmental regulatorycompliance; process optimization, equipment maintenance and supervision ofoperating and capital expenditures. The Regional Operations Manager reports tothe Zone Director Bulk Production.

Essential Function

• Achievement of all safety, production, efficiency, quality and budgetarytargets for the Region
• Supervising the recruiting and hiring of Managers and technicians within theRegion
• Support of local personnel during all planned and unplanned plant outages
• Support Plant Managers with the implementation and execution of all DepartmentInitiatives
• Coordination of all plant maintenance activities within the region
• Coordination of production scheduling with Product Management and LogisticsDepartments
• Support of the Sales Team
• Qualify and supervise vendors and contractors
• Assist department head with data and budgetary preparations and presentations.
• Fill in for a Plant Manager as may be required during his or her absence.
• Willingness to be "on call " 24/7 for plant needs of any kind, (personnel,equipment, customer problems)
• Complete knowledge of all MTG safety, compliance and quality policies.
• Complete knowledge of all MTG personnel policies as they relate to ASU's
• Complete knowledge of all in-region pipeline contracts and obligations
• Performs other duties as assigned
