Job Overview

The Regional Operations Manager oversees daily business operations for a designated E2 Optics regional area, responsible for overall profitability on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Key duties include generating new customers, identifying business opportunities, recruiting and developing employees, and enhancing regional performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability through effective strategies.

Core Duties & Responsibilities
  • Safety: Follow safe work practices and policies, promoting a family-centric culture.
  • Sales & Operations: Conduct pipeline meetings, direct sales, project management, field operations, and customer service within the region.
  • Market & Business Development: Assess local markets, develop forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans.
  • Performance Goals: Meet revenue goals, oversee project execution, manage costs, forecast labor needs, and ensure project profitability.
  • Budget & Compliance: Develop budgets, coordinate with HR, IT, QA/QC, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Team Development: Provide training and coaching, identify improvement areas, and hold managers accountable.
  • Networking & Market Analysis: Share best practices, provide market reports, and maintain client relationships through site visits and travel as needed.
Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Certifications such as PMP, RTPM, RCDD, BICSI Technician, OSHA 10/30 are preferred.

Experience: 7-10 years in telecommunications/low voltage management, 10+ years in construction/telecommunications, with experience in security, audiovisual, videoconferencing, wireless communications, and proven project management skills.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This role involves indoor office and construction environments, requiring use of computers, tools, and physical activity including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces. Travel may be required.
