Job summary

Buckeye Linen Service, Inc. is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to lead a stand-alone service operation focused on safety, training, finance, and exceptional customer service.

You will oversee warehouse, administration, distribution, and outside sales while coaching a diverse team. The role requires a four-year degree or equivalent hands-on leadership experience, strong budgeting and P&L skills, and a practical, hands-on leadership style.

Qualifications

  • Four-year degree preferred or at least 3 years of experience as a business operating manager.
  • Demonstrated experience with budgeting, P&L management, goal setting, and operational leadership.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Hands-on leader who can motivate, coach, mentor, and develop employees by example.
  • Strong verbal and written communication across all levels of the organization.
  • Quick learner with ability to learn new industries, systems, and processes.
  • Commitment to safety, accountability, and responsible business practices.
  • Commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable practices.
  • Willingness to participate in community involvement initiatives.
  • Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
  • Ability to work overtime, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain a strong safety-focused culture throughout the operation.
  • Coordinate and ensure all corporate training programs and policies are followed by associates.
  • Lead, motivate, coach, and develop employees through hands-on leadership and example.
  • Oversee multiple functional areas: Warehouse, Office Administration, Route Distribution, Outside Sales.
  • Maintain oversight of assets, buildings, equipment, fleet, inventory, and accounts receivable.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and support collection efforts to maintain healthy customer accounts.
  • Maintain P&L responsibility and support budgeting, forecasting, and overall business performance.
  • Establish goals, delegate responsibilities, monitor progress, and follow up on objectives.
  • Address employee and operational concerns professionally while providing coaching and training.
  • Maintain a strong customer-focused culture and ensure exceptional service.
  • Support and lead sales and marketing initiatives to grow and retain customers.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, customers, vendors, and management.
  • Represent the company positively within the community and support local initiatives.
  • Promote environmental sustainability in business practices.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative workplace where employees can grow and succeed.

Regional Operations Manager

This position serves as the chief motivator and provides direction, mentoring, coaching, and training to the team while overseeing the overall operation of a stand‑alone, service-based business.

Responsibilities
  • Safety Leadership: Promote and maintain a strong safety-focused culture throughout the operation.

  • Conflict Resolution: Address employee and operational concerns professionally while providing coaching and training when needed.
  • Customer Service: Maintain a strong customer-focused culture and ensure customers receive exceptional service.
  • Sales & Marketing: Support and lead sales and marketing initiatives to grow and retain the customer base.
  • Communication: Communicate professionally and effectively with employees, customers, vendors, and all levels of management.
  • Community Involvement: Represent the company positively within the community and support company involvement in local initiatives.

Essential Qualifications
