Job summary

Weis Markets in Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced retail leader to manage store operations with a focus on merchandising, customer experience, and team development. The role covers coordination with district leadership to execute sales plans across locations such as Allentown, York and the Delaware Valley.

You will train staff, supervise merchandising execution, ensure safety and compliance, and drive regional results through staffing, inventory control, and vendor collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business preferred with 3+ years store/retail management.
• Experience leading store teams and driving sales and customer experience.
• Strong merchandising and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Uphold the standards for total store, evaluate merchandising plans and displays to meet objectives.
• Coordinate regional sales plans with merchants and store teams.
• Communicate goals with specialists and corporate merchants; assist with POG/CGO maintenance.
• Evaluate in-stock condition and identify training opportunities at stores.
• Recommend weekly sales initiatives and coordinate with District Manager.
• Enforce safety, sanitation and food safety regulations; promote goodwill with authorities.
• Support training and development of Store Management for long-term career growth.
• Monitor backroom inventory levels and shrink reduction; advise on improvements.
• Assist inventory processing and communicate with inventory service teams.
• Ensure dress code compliance to maintain a professional image.
• Assist District Manager and Store Managers in developing assistants, managers, trainees, and interns.
• Understand customer experience metrics and work with Customer Experience Specialists on plans.
• May support districts outside the region on additional projects.
• Assist DM with sales, profit, expenses, talent development, engagement and community leadership; drive regional results.
