Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader to manage 4–6 retail offices and deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations. You will set expectations for consultative service, oversee operations, and coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals to perform with excellence.

As a hands-on leader, you’ll balance strategic oversight with in-office presence, ensuring staffing, facilities, compliance, and day‑to‑day operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi-unit environment with accountability for performance.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Strong leadership capability with ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 offices, ensuring standards are executed with discipline and consistency
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to reinforce strengths and address gaps
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors with client-centric leadership
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals by setting clear expectations and coaching for consistent performance
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviours, client interactions and outcomes to strengthen team execution
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and high-potential talent
• Own revenue, growth, operational performance, and business outcomes across offices
• Monitor performance metrics and act to improve business results, client acquisition and retention
• Ensure daily operations across offices including staffing, scheduling, compliance, SOPs, and service delivery
• Own office and workforce readiness including facilities, equipment, supplies, recruiting, onboarding, and seasonal demand preparation
