Job summary

Caregiver, Inc. in Valparaiso, IN is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support individuals with IDD.

The role offers part-time hours and opportunities to provide person-centered nursing care, promote health, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. You will perform nursing assessments, administer medications, develop care plans, maintain documentation, and participate in training for direct care staff.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Experience with IDD is preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a care team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assessments and ongoing health monitoring.

• Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacies, families, and other providers.

We're looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). In this role, you'll provide person-centered nursing care, promote health and safety, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve the lives of those we serve.

• Sitting is 60% of work time.
• Standing and walking is 20% of work time.
• Bending, pushing, pulling, stooping, reaching, and kneeling is 20% of work time.

• An office setting, minimal background noise, standard office lighting, occasional temperature fluctuations are found in the work environment.
