Regional Nurse Manager (Project Management)

Remote or Aberdeen, SD | Travel Required (~2 weeks/month)

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring aRegional Nurse Manager to support nursing staff across our communities and ensure the highest standard of resident-centered care. This position plays a critical role in clinical quality, compliance, leadership support, and training.

This Regional Nurse Manager role can be based remotely or out of the Home Office in Aberdeen, SD, with frequent travel to Primrose Communities.

More about the position responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical guidance to Directors of Nursing (DONs)
  • Conduct community site visits and complete audits
  • Train teams on resident care standards and use of MatrixCare
  • Assist with licensing, compliance, and survey readiness
  • Collaborate with regional teams on risk management and quality assurance
  • Support DON onboarding, staff education, and policy implementation
  • Serve as a liaison for family, resident, and team concerns
The Successful Candidate will have:
  • Associate's degree in nursing required; BSN preferred
  • 2+ years of geriatric experience required; leadership experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assisted living or long-term care regulations
  • Proficiency in clinical documentation systems and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills
  • Clean driving record and ability to travel 2 weeks per month
