Job summary

Gemini Healthcare in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Regional Nurse Consultant to lead regional nursing oversight, ensure regulatory compliance, and support facilities with quality resident care. This RN leadership role involves travel within Fort Worth and surrounding regions to visit facilities regularly and drive standards across MAR, TAR, and MDS processes.

The role requires strong clinical expertise, a proactive compliance mindset, and collaborative leadership with DONs and regional teams.

Qualifications

Must hold a current RN license and obtain licensure in other states as needed.
Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in hospital/SNF or related healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards.
Willingness to travel within the Fort Worth region.

Responsibilities

Regional On-Site Oversight: travel monthly to facilities in Fort Worth regional area to review MAR, TAR, 24-hour reports, wound reviews, and MDS status.
Survey Support & Regulatory Compliance: assist facilities during state surveys and communicate results to leadership with Plans of Correction.
System & Process Optimization: identify and correct system breaks, review clinical measures, and audit charts for compliance.
Leadership & Education: partner with DONs to develop in-service training and assist with nurse onboarding.
Operations Support: review referrals and analyze quality assurance reports for reporting to leadership.
Collaboration: maintain strong working relationships with facility, regional, and corporate teams; interpret policies as needed.
