Job summary

Centers Health Care in Upstate New York is seeking a full-time Regional Nurse to provide expert consultation across our facilities. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, clinical service optimization, and driving positive patient outcomes while coordinating with DONs and facility leadership.

The Regional Nurse will travel extensively, mentor DONs, review surveys, and assist with plans of correction. A NY RN license and 3–5 years of regional/N DON experience in long-term care are required;

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New York required.
• 3–5 years as Regional DON or Regional Nurse in LTC.
• Experience in regulatory surveys and compliance a must.

Responsibilities

• Assess and optimize clinical services in assigned facilities.
• Lead/regulate compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Mentor DONs and assist with candidate reviews for RN management.
• Coordinate regional visits and training sessions for DONs.
• Prepare survey plans of correction and monitor for compliance.
