Ryder in Arlington, TX is seeking a NON-CDL Truck Driver. The role offers weekly pay, paid training, and a strong benefits package. You will drive a box truck regionally and enjoy scheduled shifts with no weekend work.

Start time is 6:00 AM with routes including TX, KS, OK, MO. You’ll receive per diem, stops pay, and a hotel stay on overnights, plus PTO and 401(k) matching after a year. Ryder emphasizes safety, training, and career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Must have verifiable driving experience (like equipment if operating a straight/box truck).
• 6 months experience in the past 3 years, OR 2 years in last 5 years, OR 5 years in last 10 years.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and comply with safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records as required.
• Assist in loading/unloading freight if required by customer.
• Detect and minimize safety hazards and comply with regulations.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
