Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team. This role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and a driving career you can feel proud of.

You will haul freight with a sleeper tractor and dry van trailers, with routes to TX, LA, KS, AR. Schedule is Monday–Friday with possible Saturdays, training provided, and a $1,750 sign-on bonus at 30 and 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test, background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical and a Ryder road test.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, regulations and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist with loading/unloading as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
