Job summary

One Mission Society is seeking a Regional Representative for Ohio and Pennsylvania based in the region. The role focuses on recruiting biblically qualified missionary candidates through education, coaching, and campus, church, and event engagement.

The position requires building partnerships with churches and denominations, traveling 20-25% of the time, and mentoring candidates through the OMS candidacy process while upholding OMS values and mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of local church leadership experience.
• Experience in global missions within a local church preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 20–25% of the time.
• Familiarity with Zoom and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Recruit biblically qualified missionary candidates for OMS.
• Develop strategies to raise OMS awareness in colleges, seminaries, churches.
• Build partnerships with churches and denominations in the region.
• Speak at colleges, seminaries, campuses, churches, and events to recruit missionaries.
• Mentor potential missionaries through candidacy and coaching processes.
• Travel as needed within the assigned region and to OMS HQ.
