A respected industrial contractor in Albany, Oregon, is looking for experienced Journeyman Millwrights / Industrial Mechanics to support ongoing plant maintenance and industrial construction projects across multiple locations. Candidates should have over 4 years of relevant experience and a commitment to safety. This role offers a competitive wage of $26–$38/hour based on experience, and the potential for long-term employment. Travel flexibility is a must as work will be conducted across regional locations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of journeyman-level millwright or industrial mechanic experience.
• Current or previous AWS structural welding certification.
• Experience working in industrial plant or heavy manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble complex mechanical systems.
• Perform precision alignment of machinery using various tools.
• Install, maintain, and repair conveyor systems and drive components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Perform welding tasks to AWS code.
• Follow all safety requirements and procedures.

Skills

Journeyman-level millwright experience

AWS structural welding certification

Experience in industrial plant environments

Knowledge of OSHA safety standards

Rotating equipment alignment proficiency

Ability to work in safety-driven environments
