Job summary

Amplity is seeking a Regional Medical Science Liaison to support a client’s Medical Affairs portfolio across multiple therapeutic areas, including inflammation. You will interface with clinical trial sites, engage opinion leaders, and communicate scientific information in a non-promotional manner.

The role requires 2–3 years MSL experience, pharmaceutical credentials, and the ability to travel up to 70% of the time, with residency in the assigned region. Connecticut-based candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum master’s degree with medical credential (NP, RN, PA).
• Terminal degree (PharmD, PhD) highly preferred.
• MSL with pharmaceutical experience and medical credential may be considered with bachelor’s degree.
• MSL experience required (minimum 2-3 years).
• Drug pre-approval (pre-PDUFA) MSL experience required.
• IBD/GI or immunology experience strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present medical/scientific information clearly.
• Relationship-building and networking skills.
• Excellent organization and results orientation.
• Influence and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with clinical trial design, conduct, and evaluation.
• Permanent residence within assigned region.
• Ability to travel 70% of the time.
• Preference near major airport, eastern half of US or southeast; Texas or Florida advantageous.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and digital meeting platforms.
• Safe driving record and valid driver’s license required.
• Successful completion of Amplity and client training.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Trial Support: interface with clinical trial sites and CROs to ensure high-quality study execution and enrollment.
• Scientific Expertise: develop deep expertise in multiple therapeutic areas including inflammatory conditions.
• Opinion Leader Engagement: build and maintain relationships with opinion leaders, investigators, and staff.
• Cross-Functional Support: provide scientific support to Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, and Commercial teams; support local, regional, national and international congresses.
• Compliance: operate ethically and comply with laws, regulations, and policies.
