Job summary

MSD is seeking a Regional Medical Scientific Director to serve as a disease expert and to exchange scientifically balanced information with Scientific Leaders. The role supports the Rheumatology and Dermatology Immunology program and ensures access to approved medical information for in-development and active trials.

The position requires a credentialed medical/scientific degree and experience in scientific discussions with SLs, with the territory aligned to defined AOIs and research

Qualifications

• Credentialed medical/scientific degree (PhD/MD/PharmD/DNP) required.
• Experience engaging with scientific leaders and conducting scientific discussions.
• Therapeutic area knowledge applicable to Rheumatology Immunology and Dermatology programs.

Responsibilities

• Develops professional relationships with national and regional SLs to share company-approved medical information.
• Maintains scientific contact with SLs and coordinates inquiries to appropriate resources.
• Addresses scientific questions and guides SL inquiries to suitable company resources.
• Keeps current knowledge of dynamic scientific and clinical environments in AOIs for the role.
