Job summary

Vytalize Health is seeking a Regional Medical Officer to lead Market Medical Directors and drive value-based care transformation across designated regions. The RMO will mentor physicians, align clinical programs with CMS regulations and ACO obligations, and partner with Vytalize leadership to optimize practice performance.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active medical license and board certification.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience; at least 2 years in leadership within an ACO or similar.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting; knowledge of value-based care.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and mentor Market Medical Directors to expand influence and engagement.
• Exercise supervisory responsibility and accountability for pod performance, ensuring clinical and financial success.
• Meet regularly with Market Medical Directors to troubleshoot challenges and provide strategic guidance.
• Provide guidance on regulatory and compliance issues related to CMS regulations and ACO obligations.
• Regularly review KPI and utilization metrics and drive regional continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across Vytalize leadership teams to align on value-based care strategies and initiatives.
