Regional Medical Assistant Float - Sign on Bonus: $2,500

Position Overview

The Regional MA Float is responsible for both administrative and clinical tasks, including maintaining patient records, assisting with examinations, and providing patient support. This safety-sensitive role involves direct patient care, including medication administration, and requires travel within the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients, obtain medical histories, take vitals, and document in EMR
  • Assist providers during examinations and procedures
  • Manage front-desk operations and patient communications
  • Perform clinical duties such as medication administration, diagnostic tests, and specimen processing
  • Maintain inventory and assist with onboarding new team members
  • Travel within the region approximately 85% of the time
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred completion of accredited Medical Assistant program (RMA or CMA)
  • At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
  • CPR certification preferred
  • Phlebotomy and IV start experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with EMR systems
Physical and Key Skills
  • Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 15 lbs and prolonged standing
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation & Benefits

USD $17.50 - $19.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and holidays.
