Job summary

Xeris is seeking a Regional Medical Affairs Director to expand medical and scientific engagement with key thought leaders and institutions in Northern California and neighboring states. The role emphasizes advisory support, investigator engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to support clinical research and real-world data efforts.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree strongly preferred.
• Less than 2 years of experience; 2+ years for Director level.
• Experience in clinical research or academia preferred.
• Wide understanding of regional medical practice and healthcare systems.

Responsibilities

• Foster collaborative relationships with TLs, institutions and decision makers.
• Provide medical information through scientific exchange and clinical support.
• Deliver medical presentations to diverse HCP audiences.
• Support Investigator Initiated Studies and liaise with clinical teams.
• Collaborate across Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Commercial teams.
• Summarize competitive and scientific intelligence clearly and concisely.
• Attend medical meetings to gain insights and support scientific exchange.
• Contribute to training and TL participation in advisory activities.
• Maintain clinical/scientific expertise and provide strategic insights.
• Support publications and medical communications with TLs and Medical Communications.
