Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Regional Medical Advisor to bridge cutting-edge science with real-world medical practice across regions. You will build relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals to translate clinical expertise into patient access and improved outcomes.

You will drive regional medical strategies, support investigator-initiated studies, and ensure compliant communication while traveling domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Medical Master’s degree or above, Endocrinology preferred.
• Scientific/clinical experience in Endocrinology or related areas.
• Experience in pharmaceutical marketing, R&D or medical affairs.
• Strong medical and marketing insight to translate evidence into strategy.
• Excellent communication and cooperation with diverse stakeholders.
• Mature, independent working style managing multiple projects.
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel domestically (30-50%) and internationally (~5%).

Responsibilities

• Build scientific relationships with key opinion leaders and external stakeholders as a trusted academic partner.
• Drive awareness and medical readiness for pre-launch products 24 months before launch.
• Reinforce scientific positioning for launched products through expert engagement.
• Develop regional medical strategies aligning with medical affairs objectives.
• Execute regional medical projects, including Regional Advisory Board meetings.
• Work with regional KOLs to identify Investigator Initiated Studies and coordinate operations.
• Ensure off-label communication follows compliance processes and policies.
