Job summary

CHI Health in Omaha is seeking a Regional Float Pool Nurse to deliver high quality patient care across multiple Omaha Metro locations. You will support Medical Surgical departments, travel to facilities as needed, and bring your clinical expertise to bear in diverse patient populations.

The role emphasizes the nursing process, collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, and reliable, compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an RN nursing program.
• Active RN licensure in Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact.
• BLS required upon hire.
• ACLS required upon hire.
• Ability to travel to multiple metro facilities on short notice.
• At least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty in past 5 years.
• Preferred BSN.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across multiple Omaha Metro locations.
• Follow nursing process: assess, plan, implement, evaluate.
• Document all phases of the nursing process.
• Expedite responsiveness to facilities with staffing needs.
