Job summary

CHI Health is seeking a Regional Float Pool Nurse to deliver high-quality care across multiple Omaha Metro locations. You will apply your clinical expertise in Medical-Surgical settings while supporting staffing needs.

You will follow the nursing process, document care, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, compassionate patient care. Travel to metro facilities is required as needed. Active RN licensure in NE/IA or compact is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an RN nursing program.
• Active RN licensure in Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact.
• BLS is required upon hire; ACLS certification required upon hire.
• Other credentials may be needed based on level of care RN floats to.
• Ability to travel to multiple metro facilities on short notice.
• At least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty in past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide care across multiple Omaha Metro locations as part of the Regional Float Pool.
• Apply the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate.
• Document all phases of the nursing process in patient records.
• Follow standards of care and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team.
• Support Medical-Surgical departments and maintain high patient care quality.
