Job summary

Conagra Brands seeks a regional technical leader to drive operational excellence across production facilities processing raw meat proteins into finished and semifinished goods. You will partner with SMEs, site teams, and engineering to ensure best practices are adopted and sustained while developing network capability.

You will lead the creation and deployment of ToO documentation, process flow maps, and training materials, and mentor engineers to strengthen talent across the network.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing with depth in meat processing.
• Deep technical knowledge of meat processing equipment and processes.
• Experience developing and delivering training programs.
• Travel required up to 50-75%.
• Continuous improvement mindset and commitment to operational excellence.
• Comfortable working in office and plant environments with physical exposure.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and regional guidance to site teams on meat processing.
• Share site insights, challenges, and lessons learned network-wide.
• Track adoption and effectiveness of Theory of Operations (ToO) documentation.
• Facilitate cross-site collaboration and enterprise alignment.
• Develop, enhance, and deploy ToO documentation including process flow maps and training materials.
• Coordinate priorities and resources for ToO execution.
• Break down work into clear streams with defined accountability.
• Validate technical standards and ensure alignment with enterprise requirements.
• Organize and facilitate training for operations, maintenance, and quality teams.
• Mentor site specialists and junior engineers for talent development.
• Lead data mining and trends to identify loss-reduction opportunities.
• Support loss tree and instability trigger analysis and escalation protocols.
• Collaborate to resolve major equipment losses (case packer, cartoner downtime).
• Maintain ToO documentation accuracy and accessibility.
• Participate in monthly knowledge-sharing sessions to review actions and metrics.
• Promote continuous improvement, standardization, and adoption of best practices.
• Maintain relationships with external experts and industry trends.
