Longterm Health Management Services is seeking a Regional MDS Nurse Consultant to support facilities in the Pittsburgh, PA area in a hybrid role. You will lead MDS nursing teams, develop and audit care plans, and collaborate with clinical leadership to enhance quality, regulatory compliance, and survey outcomes.

This position requires an RN license and gerontological nursing experience in skilled nursing facilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing; RN license.
Geriatric nursing training preferred.
Experience in skilled nursing facilities required.

Responsabilités

Collaborates with Director of Clinical Services, Regional Director of Operations, Administrators, and Directors of Nursing within the region.
Identifies and monitors centers with the greatest need for quality and regulatory intervention.
Leads center and regional operations personnel and clinical staff through quality interventions to improve care delivery, customer satisfaction, and survey results.
Works with local/state/federal agencies, company and external resources to facilitate clinical competency.
Fosters nursing leadership support network.
Pilots and replicates promising practices.
Spreads performance improvement initiatives.
