Job summary

Legacy Healthcare seeks a Regional MDS Nurse Consultant covering facilities in the Pittsburgh, PA area with a hybrid work model. You will develop and audit resident care plans, perform assessments, and assist in discharge processes to ensure high-quality care aligned with regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with regional leaders and nursing staff to identify centers needing quality improvements, drive performance initiatives, and foster a network of nursing leadership across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing; RN license required
• Geriatric nursing training preferred
• Strong leadership and quality-improvement mindset

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Director of Clinical Services, Regional Director of Operations, Administrators, and Directors of Nursing within the region.
• Identifies centers needing quality and regulatory intervention and drives improvements.
• Leads center and regional teams to improve care delivery, satisfaction, and survey results.
• Interfaces with local/state/federal agencies and external resources to ensure clinical competency.
• Fosters nursing leadership support networks and replicates promising practices.
• Drives performance improvement initiatives and spreads best practices.
