Job summary

Oil Dri Corporation is seeking a skilled accounting professional to oversee the accounting and finance functions for its manufacturing locations in Mississippi and Illinois. The role involves ensuring compliance with GAAP, preparing reports, and developing budgets alongside Plant Managers.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 5-8 years of manufacturing accounting experience, alongside strong analytical and communication skills.

The position requires daily onsite presence at active mine sites, ensuring oversight and collaboration with finance and operational teams.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a supervisor or manager.
• Experience in SOX-compliant organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain capital expenditure records and prepare monthly reports.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and analyze monthly plant financial statements.
• Develop an understanding of Oil-Dri costing for management reporting.
