Descrição da vaga

We are seeking an experienced and driven Regional Manager to lead the operations for a regional of our veterinary specialty and emergency hospitals. With a strategic plan to double in size within the next few years, this is a critical leadership role for someone ready to scale operations, develop high-performing teams, and drive operational excellence in a complex, fast-paced clinical environment.

This is not an entry-level leadership role. The ideal candidate has risen through the ranks of veterinary hospital operations and has proven experience managing one large high-volume hospital or overseeing multiple hospitals within a region. You will report to a supportive but hands-off leadership team at headquarters, and you will be trusted to run the hospital independently while partnering closely with medical leadership and departmental teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with medical leadership to support a high-performing, collaborative clinical environment
  • Own the hospital P&L, driving revenue growth, cost management, and margin improvement
  • Design and implement workflows and process improvements to support scalability as the hospital doubles in size
  • Manage and optimize staffing models, scheduling, recruitment, and retention in alignment with hospital growth
  • Lead expansion initiatives in partnership with facilities, finance, and HQ leadership
  • Champion culture, employee engagement, and a client-first mindset across all levels of the hospital
  • Monitor KPIs (efficiency, throughput, client satisfaction, DVM utilization, etc.) and implement action plans for continuous improvement
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HQ operations, finance, and HR—but operate with autonomy day-to-day
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in veterinary hospital operations; experience managing large single-site operations ($10M+ revenue) or multiple smaller hospitals required
  • Proven ability to lead large teams in a high-volume, fast-paced clinical setting
  • Deep understanding of veterinary business operations including scheduling, budgeting, client relations, inventory, compliance, and medical team partnership
  • Strong financial acumen and comfort managing complex budgets and growth forecasts
  • Exceptional people management and team-building skills
  • Self-directed, strategic, and solutions-oriented leadership style
  • Experience leading hospitals through expansion, construction, or multi-phase growth initiatives is strongly preferred
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary + performance bonus
  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO
  • Relocation assistance if applicable
  • Opportunity to lead one of the most exciting veterinary hospital growth stories in the region
