Follett Corporation is seeking an experienced leader to manage multiple college bookstore operations across a geographic region. You will establish budgets, drive sales and profit, and oversee service, merchandising, and policy adherence.
You will motivate and empower associates, partner with Store Operations, Marketing, AP, HR and Training, and align with Follett values while implementing strategic initiatives across campuses.
Responsible for providing leadership for managing all functions for multiple college bookstores within a group, including establishing budgets, financial goals, service levels, and policy administration to store managers on campus with students, faculty, and staff.
Oversees the sales, service, merchandising, and operations of a number of retail stores in a geographic area. Implements the strategy, goals, and objectives to drive sales and profit. Demonstrates strong knowledge of Follett systems and strategies (Included Program, Academic Tools, System Integrations, etc.), the industry, and the competitive landscape in order to execute initiatives, drive profitable sales, and control expenses.
Motivate and empower associates through strong communication, change management, and clear direction in order to maintain alignment with strategic direction. Partners with various support partners, including Store Operations, Marketing, AP, HR, and Training. $40,000.00 - $158,200.00 / year
The annual salary/hourly rate range has been established based on the role, experience, skill set, and location. The exact starting salary/hourly rate within the range will depend on the role and the local market. This position may be eligible to participate in one of the Company’s incentive plans. The amount of any incentive payment varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
